  1. Kurt,

I stumbled on your blog while researching for information for the local NAMI chapter and its criminal justice sub-committee. We are in the process of gathering information and evidence about the Allen County system and particularly its treatment of the mentally ill and the forensic diversion program. In looking at your blog I think we might have much in common and suspect you have had some contact with NAMI? I am not an officer with NAMI just a concerned “consumer”, but would be interested in talking with you.

  2. Kent, I don’t have much contact with NAMI or the Allen County Forensic Diversion Program. However, I have been involved in another diversion program in another county. Feel free to give me a call if you want to talk. Sometimes I’m hard to get ahold of, but I do return all my own calls.

  4. Kurt,
Found you while surfing for psychiatry blogs. I think we went to high school together (northern IN lake town). Kris was in my class (88).

  5. It is refreshing to read insights from a therapeutic and psychological point of view on politics and other issues. Keep up the great work.

In particular, I respect your recent post on Evan Bayh and his chances for the veep slot, and your listing of the rules for marriage. It’s also neat to see you use newspapers as sources for some of your thoughts.

Take care, Kurt, and thanks for being part of the Hoosier blogosphere.
